And thus begins my attempt to create and layout a center for displaying my hopes and struggles.  This site where I will be laying out the designs for everything that I make.  There will occasional be poetry and prose.  Some of the things I will get into: Networking, technical development, cooking, woodworking, mechanics, and scenic views.

I hope you enjoy the ride, just as I hope to enjoy making it.  You may find that this first post is practically a 'hello world,' just with a bit more thoughts and words. 

Now, the first project I plan to detail is the current setup of my home network.  It is a curious thing, since I do not currently control the connection to the modem, and have made due with piping to my router from a Raspberry Pi so that there are not a lot of devices on the WiFi.
